Murray's brewed at this site right up until 1962 after they closed their Craigmillar Brewery in 1950. Possible then acquired by neighours Dryborough as they're name appears on the roof!

Registered May 1897 to acquire John Somerville & Co, wine and spirit merchants, Leith and Blyth and Cameron, North British Brewery.

Acquired by William Murray & Co. Ltd. 1922.
