John Jeffrey & Co. Ltd, Heriot Brewery, Roseburn Terrace, Edinburgh, Lothian.
Acquired the Heriot Brewery, Grassmarket, in 1837. Built a new brewery at Roseburn in 1880 and sold the old brewery in 1900.
Private company registered July 1934 and a public company was formed in 1958.
Acquired by Northern Breweries of Great Britain 1960 and closed in 1992.
