John & Joseph Butterworth, Lowerfield Brewery, Wardle, Greater Manchester.

Dissolved in 1890 and in 1895 "Mr Butterworth" sold the Drake Inn, Rochdale, his brewery at Wardle and a number of houses to Mr Newbold of Bury for £14,000.

In 1891 J Butterworth, 2 Holly Street.
