The Duffetts had a shop at 178 High Street, Ryde, on the same block as the brewery. The shop has 'DUFFETT' lettering on the fascia. The family were also seed merchants, and this shop was probably used for this purpose after the brewery closed.

James Garland Duffett, Lion Brewery, 181 High Street, Ryde, Isle of Wight.

Acquired by Brickwoods Ltd in 1921.

The Duffetts had a shop at 178 High Street, Ryde, on the same block as the brewery. The shop has 'DUFFETT' lettering on the fascia. The family were also seed merchants, and this shop was probably used for this purpose after the brewery closed.
