Founded by the Phillips family some time after 1725. Registered November 1897 and took over the businesses of J.& J.E.Phillips and P.A.Meyer of Orwell, Cambs. Acquired by [[J W Green Ltd]]. 1949 with 150 tied houses. The brewery was later used by a wholesale confectionery manufacturer and then demolished. Now a supermarket.

Founded by the Phillips family some time after 1725.
