J P Simpkiss, Dennis Brewery, Brettell Lane, Brierley Hill, West Midlands.

Founded by William Henry Simpkiss by expanding the existing Royal Oak Inn Brewery at Round Oak in 1869. Known as the Foley Arms when acquired from Henry Bolton by Joseph Paskin Simpkiss on 26th April 1919 for £3,000. The site was renamed the Dennis Brewery.

See also Home Brewery (Quarry Bank) Ltd. A new brewery was built on the site in 1934.

Registered November 1938 as J P Simpkiss & Son Ltd. Merged with Johnson & Phipps Ltd of Wolverhampton 1955 to become JPS Breweries Ltd.

Acquired by Greenall Whitley & Co. Ltd in July 1985 with 15 public houses and the brewery was immediately closed.
