J & J E Phillips Ltd, Baldock Street, Royston, Hertfordshire.
Founded by the Phillips family some time after 1725.
Registered November 1897 and took over the businesses of J.& J.E.Phillips and P.A.Meyer of Orwell, Cambs.
Acquired by J W Green Ltd. 1949 with 150 tied houses.
