Issard & Dawson, Crown Brewery, Horse Market, Newtown, Powys.

Founded 1831.

Merged with David Roberts (Aberystwyth) in March 1890 to form the Montgomeryshire Brewery Co. Ltd bringing 23 houses into the new concern.

Liquidated 1893.

Brewery and 22 houses sold to Charles Bate & Son Ltd of Wrexham 1895.
