Island Brewery (Newport)

Island Brewery, 16 Manners View, Dodnor Industrial Estate, Newport, Isle of Wight PO30 5FA

Established in 1991 by the Hampshire soft drinks company Hartridge & Sons Ltd.

In 1993, they acquired Burt & Co and adopted the Burt name and brands. Burt's Brewery in Ventnor was closed.

In 1996 all production was transferred to a separate brewpub at Sandown and brewing ceased.
