Newport

Island Brewery, 16 Manners View, Dodnor Industrial Estate, Newport, Isle of Wight PO30 5FA

Established in 1991 by the Hampshire soft drinks company Hartridge & Sons Ltd.

In 1993, they acquired Burt & Co of Ventnor and adopted the Burt name and brands. The Ventnor brewery was closed.

They renamed themselves Burts Brewery (Newport) Ltd.

In 1996, brewing ceased when they moved to Sandown and became Burts (Sandown Brewery) Ltd.
