The Hull Brewery Company Ltd, 144-148 English Street, Hull, East Yorkshire

Brewing commenced 1989, in an old fish-smoking factory in English Street, using a 40-barrel Peter Austin plant. The company adopted the name Hull Brewery, as the original name had been de-registered by North Country Breweries Ltd in 1974.

In 1992, they acquired their first tied house: the Plimsolls Ship Hotel in Hull - bought from Mansfield Brewery.

Brewing ceased 1994, then restarted 1995 but ceased again in 2001.
