Henry Robinson & Co, Wigan Brewery, King Street, Wigan, Greater Manchester.

Founded in the 1780s.

In 1791 Thomas Higson, then 1798 George Bainbridge & Co to 1802.

In 1814 trading as shown, Henry having previously been at the Brewers Arms.

In 1821 partnership of Henry with the Bevan family was dissolved.

In 1839 Thomas Morris leased property until his death 1871 and possibly followed by a son of same name.

Offered for auction 24th September 1894 with 86 or 88 tied houses, as a result of court case involving lunacy claim, the owner, Ellen Ann Robinson, having been committed to an asylum.

Bought by Magee, Marshall & Co. Ltd. for £175,000.
