Founded in about 1730. In 1914 S.R.Conron & Co acquired an interest. Registered September 1924 to acquire exors of S R Conron, Hornchurch, and Alice F Webb, Uxbridge, carried on as Harman & Co.
Hornchurch sold to Mann, Crossman & Paulin Ltd in 1925.
Acquired by Courage, Barclay & Simonds Ltd. 1962 with 83 tied house and 5 off-licences.
Brewing ceased March 1964.
