Founded by Henry Cardwell at Cannon Street 1866 and moved to Tithebarn Street 1877. Acquired by [[Alfred Bertwistle & Sons]] 1895 and by William Hall & Co. 1900. Registered 1906.

Founded by Henry Cardwell at Cannon Street 1866 and moved to Tithebarn Street 1877.

Acquired by Alfred Bertwistle & Sons 1895.

In 1900 bought by William Hall of Wem and by 1900 William Hall & Co.

Registered 1906.

In 1920 acquired by Matthew Brown & Co. Ltd., who may have supplied from 1914, with 28 tied houses and was closed.
