Founded as the Traveller's Rest beerhouse c.1830. Renamed the Alma Inn 1861. Acquired by Benjamin Woodhouse 1901. Moved to the Victoria Brewery 1914 which was then renamed the Alma Brewery and moved again 1917 to the Queen's Cross Brewery. 15 public houses. Ceased brewing 1934.
