H B Clark & Co. (Successors) Ltd, Westgate Brewery, Parliament Street, Wakefield, West Yorkshire WF2 9SW

Founded 1906. The brewery was in operation until 1960 supplying the free trade only and not brewing continuously, only to meet demand. Brewing recommenced July 1982 in a new brewhouse. Still brewing.

The company has owned or leased the following pubs for a while:

  • Henry Boons (ex Green Dragon), 130 Westgate, Wakefield. The brewery tap, and a former brew-pub.
  • Kings Arms, Heath Common, West Yorkshire.
  • Masons Arms, Keighley, West Yorkshire. Leased from Timothy Taylor 1986.
  • Boons End, Ossett, West Yorkshire.
  • White Hart, 380 Wakefield Road, Denby Dale, West Yorkshire.
  • Huntsman, 136 Manchester Road, Thurlstone, South Yorkshire.
  • Boons (ex Woolpack), 6 Queen Street, Horbury, West Yorkshire.
  • Admiral Boon (ex Rose & Crown), Rawcliffe, near Goole, East Yorkshire.
