John Groves & Sons Ltd, Hope Brewery, Hope Square, Weymouth, Dorset.

Founded 1840. The Hope Brewery was rebuilt in about 1903.

Acquired by Devenish & Co. Ltd in 1960 with 115 public houses.

The coppers and double-drop tun room are preserved as part of the Timewalk visitors exhibition (now closed).
