Great Northern Brewery Ltd, Carrick Road, Dundalk, Co Louth, Ireland.

Located on the main Dublin to Belfast railway line.

The brewery was founded in 1897, the perfect example of late Victorian brewery architecture.

Acquired by Smithwick & Sons Ltd in 1954 and sold to Guinness in 1960 for the production of Harp Lager.

Became part of Diageo and closed 2008.
