Golden Lion, 83 High Street, High Town, Bridgnorth, Shropshire

A 17c former coaching inn. It had its own brewery and stables at the rear.

In 1901, it was owned by the Shropshire Brewery, Wellington, and in 1912, the pub was sold to William Butler & Co. Ltd of Wolverhampton.

Holden's Brewery Ltd acquired the pub in 2017.

There is a detailed history of the pub, including old photographs at: https://www.goldenlionbridgnorth.co.uk/past-present/.
