Godsell & Sons Ltd, Salmon's Spring Brewery, Painswick Road, Stroud, Gloucestershire.

Thomas Godsell reported to have converted his flour mill into a brewery in 1850.

In July 1852 dissolved a partnership with Daniel at the Badbrook Brewery.

Registered 1905.

Acquired by the Stroud Brewery Co. Ltd. 1928.

Brewery demolished 1936 and a mineral water factory and bottling plant was built on the site.

The maltings are still extant.


Godsell & Sons, Burton Brewery, 21 St James Square, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.

The Burge family brewed here until arund 1887 when Godsells acquired the lease. Though they were listed to 1906, this was presumably as a depot.
