George Younger & Sons Ltd, Meadow & Candleriggs Breweries, Bank Street, Alloa, Clackmannanshire

Founded by 1745. The Meadow Brewery was established by 1764 and the Candleriggs Brewery was leased from Meiklejohns 1852.

Registered February 1897.

They acquired Blair & Co. Ltd of Alloa in 1959 with 20 tied houses and closed that brewery.

Acquired by Northern Breweries of Great Britain Ltd in 1960 and brewing ceased on 31st December 1963.
