George Bedford Whitaker, Grove Brewery, Brearley, Luddenfoot, West Yorkshire.

Established c.1859 at the Grove Inn, by George Bedford, whose grandson was George Bedford Whitaker.

Acquired by Richard Whitaker & Sons Ltd. of Halifax 1905 with 13-14 of their 18 houses.

Brewery became Harvey & Co. non-alcoholic barley beer brewery and this was then acquired by Whitakers in 1918 and dismantled.

Ground floor remains at rear.
