George Gardner & Co, New Brewery, Uttoxeter, Staffordshire.
Acquired by Peter Walker & Co. Ltd 1890 with 20 tied houses in Uttoxeter and 30 in Liverpool.
These latter houses had belonged to the Comus Street Brewery which became a store.
Later used as a cheese factory.
When bought described in a report as Stretch & Son.
