Founded 1705 and was acquired by C.F.& M.Forster 1874.

Registered March 1897.

Brewery burnt down December 1899 and rebuilt 1900.

Acquired by Newcastle Breweries Ltd. October 1910 and was closed, although the offices were used until 1947.
