Daniel Fielding & Sons, White Castle Brewery, Green Lane, Queensbury, West Yorkshire.

Daniel Fielding [1827-1892], son of Mary Fielding [1808-1873], was born in Thornton.

Originally brewing at Sowerby Bridge in partnership with Edward Hainsworth

Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, Edward Hainsworth and Daniel Fielding, carrying on business at Sowerby Bridge, in the parish of Halifax, in the county of York, as Common Brewers, under the style or firm of Hainsworth and Fielding, was, on the 16th day of August last past, dissolved by mutual consent. All debts due to and owing by the said co-partnership will be received and paid by the said Edward Hainsworth by whom the said business in future will be carried on.—Dated this 8th day of September, 1855.

Acquired by Samuel Webster & Sons Ltd of Halifax in July 1961 with 19 houses and was closed.
