Daniel Fielding [1827-1892], son of Mary Fielding [1808-1873], was born in Thornton.
Originally brewing at Sowerby Bridge as Hainsworth and Fielding in partnership with Edward Hainsworth. The partnership was dissolved on 16 August 1855.
