Everard's Brewery Ltd, Castle Acres, Narborough, Leicester, Leicestershire.

Founded 1849 when Thomas Hull and William Everard leased the Southgate Brewery, Southgate Street, Leicester, from Wilmot & Co.

In 1893 acquired the Bridge Brewery, Burton-on-Trent from Henry Boddington & Co. Ltd. As this proved to be too small for the firm's output, they leased the Trent Brewery from the Trent Brewery Co. Ltd. (in liquidation) in February 1898 and the Bridge Brewery was closed June 1898.

Registered 1925 as W.Everard & Co. Ltd. Southgate Brewery.

This brewery closed in 1932 and all brewing was concentrated at Burton-on-Trent. Public company registered as above October 1936. Trent Brewery renamed the Tiger Brewery c.1970 and was closed 1983. In 1985 it was sold for conversion into a brewery museum and the Castle Acres brewery was established.

Still brewing independently.
