Edward Moss, Halewood Brewery, Brewery Lane, Halewood, Merseyside.

Formerly Lancashire, now within the Metropolitan Borough of Knowsley. Brewery Lane is now Court Avenue.

In 1822, John Cross was bankrupt and selling a 30-barrel brewery. Isaac Moss mentioned in 1846, and Edward Moss in 1849. The partnership between James and Edward Moss was dissolved in March 1861, from which time Edward carried on the business.

The 48-barrel brewery was for sale in 1882, and by 1889, John T Wood was the main investor. Acquired by Greenall Whitley & Co. Ltd in 1890.
