Established in Broad Street c.1775.  
Founded by 1849 in connection with the Golden Ball.  


Brewery leased to [[Gardner & Co. Ltd]]. of Ash 1921 and brewing was concentrated at Ash.  
Edgar Austen retired in 1922 and  leased the business to [[Gardner & Co. Ltd]]. of Ash.


The disused brewery and 2 houses was bought by Gardners 1929 for about £15,000.  
Brewing ceased when Gardner’s purchased the brewery and its three licensed houses in 1927.  


Brewery demolished 1937.
The brewery was demolished in 1935.

Edgar Austen, Regent Brewery, 32 Belmont Street, Ramsgate, Kent.

Brewing ceased when Gardner’s purchased the brewery and its three licensed houses in 1927.

The brewery was demolished in 1935.
