Edgar Austen, Regent Brewery, 32 Belmont Street, Ramsgate, Kent.

Founded by 1849 in connection with the Golden Ball.

Edgar Austen retired in 1922 and leased the business to Gardner & Co. Ltd. of Ash.

Brewing ceased when Gardner’s purchased the brewery and its three licensed houses in 1927.
