Founded c.1823 by John Hoile. Registered 1898.

Merged with Ash & Co. of Canterbury 1920 to form Ash's East Kent Brewery Co. Ltd.

Acquired by Jude, Hanbury & Co. Ltd. 1923.

Brewery sold June 1923, and is still standing.
