Originally Princetown Breweries Ltd, brewing commenced in 1994 at the Prince of Wales Hotel, Tavistock Road, Princetown.

Moved to the above address in 2005 and changed their name to Dartmoor Brewery in 2008.

Claims to be the highest brewery in England (1,400 feet above sea level).
