Cornish Brewery Co. Ltd, Chapel Street, Redruth, Cornwall

Founded c.1792.

Registered February 1887 as the Redruth Brewery Co. Ltd to acquire the businesses of the Redruth Brewery Co. and W.C.Wickett of Penryn, see Sydney Hatch. 115 public houses.

Acquired by Devenish & Co. Ltd of Weymouth 1934 and name changed to Devenish Redruth Brewery Co. Ltd. 1960 and again as above September 1986.

Ceased brewing June 1991 but re-opened under new management. Ceased brewing 2004.

Some buildings remain. The site is being developed for other uses (2017).
