Founded c.1722.

Acquired by Combe June 1787. Registered 1888.

Merged with Watney & Co. Ltd. July 1898. Woodyard Brewery closed in 1905.

Buildings remain.


The brewery features in The Noted Breweries of Great Britain and Ireland by Alfred Barnard published 1890.
