Collin Croft Brewery Co. Ltd, Collin Croft, Off Highgate. Kendal, Cumbria

Founded by 1871 as Owen & Gelderd. Registered 1905 to acquire the business of John Gelderd.

Acquired by William Younger & Co. Ltd in September 1933 and brewing ceased but continued to bottle Younger's beers until 1965. Dissolved July 1965. Youngers, later Scottish Courage, operated a depot and packaging plant on Beezon Road: these buildings survive in another use.
