Charrington United Breweries Ltd

The outcome of a merger in 1962 between:

Charrington & Co. Ltd and

United Breweries Ltd (formerly Northern Breweries of Great Britain Ltd).

In 1965, they acquired Offiler's Brewery Ltd of Derby with 238 houses and closed it on 30th September 1966.

The company then merged in 1967 with Bass, Mitchells & Butlers Ltd to form Bass Charrington Ltd.
