Castle Eden Brewery Ltd, Castle Eden, County Durham.

The former J. Nimmo & Sons Ltd brewery, which was acquired by Whitbread & Co. Ltd in October 1963.

Castle Eden Brewery Ltd was created as a result of a Management Buy Out (MBO) from Whitbreads. Brewing commenced 1999.

In 2002, the owners acquired Cameron's Brewery in Hartlepool from Wolverhampton & Dudley.

At this time, the Castle Eden Brewery was closed and brewing was transferred to Cameron & Co. Ltd. The Castle Eden site was developed for housing purposes.
