Carlton Brewery, Mar Hill Road, Carlton, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire.

Also known as Mar Hill Brewery and Carlton Laundry.

The building was designed by the noted Nottingham architect Watson Fothergill, and was opened in 1899. It may not have been designed as a brewery.

William Vickers was listed here 1902-03. For sale 1904 and again 1906 and July 1909, when said to have been out of use only very short time!

Morris & Place listed here until 1906. In 1922 used by the Carlton Bleaching & Dyeing Co Ltd and in 1941 by the Ilkeston Hosiery Finishing Co Ltd.

The buildings survive with Grade II listing. For more details see: Carlton Brewery: Listed Building.
