John Canning & Sons, Royal Brewery, 45 Peascod Street, Windsor, Berkshire.

Founded early 19th century by Twinch family and said to have been supplying the Royal Household since 1826.

In 1870s bought by George Redrup and then joined by John Canning.

Acquired by Noakes & Co. Ltd. 1923 who then transferred their brewing here from Bermondsey.

In 1930 Courage bought Noakes and brewing ceased the following year, with the site used as a depot until 1952.
