- Nixey, Coleclough & Baxter Ltd, Hartlepool. Acquired in 1894 and was closed in 1898.
- Rickinson & Sons Ltd, Hartlepool. Acquired 1895.
- E J Sait (late Kirtley & Son), Stockton-on-Tees. Acquired 1896.
- Chapman & Son (Sunderland). Acquired in 1897 with 100 public houses.
- John Heslop Ltd, Norton-on-Tees. Their 27 public houses were bought in 1909.
- Robert Newton Ltd, Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Acquired in 1920.
- Plews & Sons Ltd, Leeming. Acquired in 1925 with about 100 public houses.
- John J. Hunt Ltd, York. Acquired with c.230 houses in 1953 including those of subsidiary Scarborough & Whitby Breweries Ltd. Ceased brewing at York in 1956 and demolished 1972.
- Scarborough & Whitby Breweries Ltd. Acquired 1953 and closed 1954.
- Fryer & Sons Ltd, Stokesley. Acquired in 1959.
- West Auckland Brewery Co. Ltd. Acquired in 1959 with 70/80 public houses.
- Russells & Wrangham Ltd, Malton. Acquired by the Melbourne Brewery (Leeds) Ltd in 1958 with 90 public houses and was sold to J.W.Cameron & Co. Ltd. in 1961. Ceased brewing at Malton in 1969 and demolished 1985.
- Melbourn Brothers (Stamford). Their pub estate was acquired in 1987, although subsequently dispersed to other companies.
- Leeds Brewery Co. Pub estate acquired 2016.
