Cambrian Brewery Co. Ltd., Bagillt, Clwyd.

Trading 1827.

James Jorle a wine merchant from Liverpool bought the brewery in 1831, but bankrupt 1835.

In 1840 Bagillt Brewery Co of William Jones and George Molineux.

Until 1890 run by William and William Thomas Pierce as Pierce & Son.

For sale 24th April 1893.

Registered 6th April 1898 to acquire William Pierce & Son, also known as the Cambrian Brewery. Formed as a subsidiary of the Kelsterton Brewery Co. Ltd, with 41 public houses. As the latter went into liquidation on 22nd December 1899, the company never traded and was dissolved on 2nd August 1904.

By 1912, disused brewery owned by Chester Northgate Brewery Co. Ltd, who finally sold it to a Mr Hannen of Halkyn in 1949.
