Founded 1828 by William Cairnes. Registered April 1890 as the Castlebellingham & Drogheda Breweries Ltd. to acquire John Woolsey & Co. Ltd, Castlebellingham and William Cairnes & Son.
Name changed as above in November 1933.
Acquired by Guinness and ceased brewing in October 1959.
