Kevin Slater set up the Old Cottage Beer Company at the former [[Heritage Brewery Ltd (Burton)]] in 2000 using second hand microbrewery kit to service the Thomas Skyes free house at the site, before moving to Hawkins Lane when the Heritage site was sold for redevelopment in 2001.

Burton Old Cottage Beer Company, Unit 10 Eccleshaw Industrial Estate, Hawkins Lane, Burton-upon-Trent, Staffordshire.

Kevin Slater set up the Old Cottage Beer Company at the former Heritage Brewery Ltd (Burton) in 2000 using second hand microbrewery kit to service the Thomas Skyes free house at the site, before moving to Hawkins Lane when the Heritage site was sold for redevelopment in 2001.

New premises from September 2000, brewing commenced 2001 following move from Heritage.

Moved again to larger premises on same estate 2003.

One house purchased 2001, sold December 2004.

Still brewing.
