Founded 1863 as Dickenson, Nicholls and Stone. Acquired by E.P. Dawson & Co. in 1872. Above registered December 1889 to acquire E.P.Dawson and H.J.Buckmaster, Lincoln with a total of 117 tied houses.

Sold to Albion (Burton-on-Trent) Brewery Ltd. in 1897 and houses resold to [[Salt & Co. Ltd]] in 1897 and 1901. Moor Street Brewery sold to Briggs & Co. brewers engineers 1899/90. No buildings survive.

In 1896, they were included in the newly-creared [[Albion Brewery (Burton-on-Trent) Ltd]], but their pubs were resold to Thomas [[Salt & Co. Ltd]] and others in 1897 and 1901.

Burton & Lincoln Breweries Ltd, 91 Moor Street, Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire.

The company was registered in December 1889 to acquire Edwin Popplewell Dawson of Burton; H J Buckmaster & Co of Lincoln; and Bargate Brewery of Boston, with a total of 177 tied houses.
