Founded 1863 as Dickenson, Nicholls and Stone.  
The company was registered in December 1889 to acquire [[Edwin Popplewell Dawson]] of Burton; [[H J Buckmaster & Co]] of Lincoln; and [[Bargate Brewery]] of Boston, with a total of 177 tied houses.  


Acquired by E P Dawson & Co. in 1872.  
In 1896, they were included in the newly-creared [[Albion Brewery (Burton-on-Trent) Ltd]], but their pubs were resold to Thomas [[Salt & Co. Ltd]] and others in 1897 and 1901.  


Above registered December 1889 to acquire E P Dawson and H J Buckmaster, Lincoln, with a total of 177 tied houses.
The Moor Street Brewery sold to Briggs & Co. brewers engineers 1900. No buildings survive.
