Recorded in 1874 and 1876. In about 1879, the brewery was acquired by James Porter, who was a parter in Sykes, Porter & Co, Myrtle Brewery, Liverpool. The Dale Brewery traded as James Porter & Sons.


In the 1880s, Robinson's Brewery in Union Street, Burton, was purchased. Brewing was transferred there, and ceased at Dale Street.

Recorded in 1874 and 1876. In about 1879, the brewery was acquired by James Porter, who was a parter in Sykes, Porter & Co, Myrtle Brewery, Liverpool. The Dale Brewery traded as James Porter & Sons.

In the 1880s, Robinson's Brewery in Union Street, Burton, was purchased. Brewing was transferred there, and ceased at Dale Street.
