Founded in 1832. Registered in October 1890. An office and stores were established at Leicester, where the company had several pubs. In 1919, the company was acquired by [[Salt & Co. Ltd]] with over 100 pubs. Brewing ceased in 1923.

Brunt, Bucknall & Co, Hartshorne Brewery, High Street, Woodville, Derbyshire

Founded in 1832. Registered in October 1890. An office and stores were established at Leicester, where the company had several pubs. In 1919, the company was acquired by Salt & Co. Ltd with over 100 pubs. Brewing ceased in 1923.

The brewery was demolished, but the bottling stores - built in 1896 - remain. Part of the site was later used by Tollgate Brewery for a time.
