Brewhouse & Kitchen Islington, Torrens Street, Islington, London EC1V 1NQ

One of a chain of modern brewpubs.

On the site of the Blue Angel, which was demolished in about 1990 and redeveloped by an office block with a pub on the ground floor. The pub reopened in September 2014, as one of the 'Brewhouse & Kitchen' chain of brewpubs. The brewing vessels are located within the bar, and the brewing kit was formerly used at the Botanist in Kew.
