S.A.Brain & Co. Ltd, Old Brewery, St Mary Street, Cardiff, South Glamorgan.

Founded 1713 and was acquired by S.A.Brain in December 1882. Registered 12th April 1897 with 74 public houses.

New brewery built 1914 at 60 Nora Street, Roath.

This was demolished in 1995 and in 1999 they bought the old William Hancock & Co. Ltd. Brewery from Bass and moved production.

Still brewing independently.
