Black Sheep Brewery plc, Wellgarth, Masham, North Yorkshire.

Brewing commenced 1992 in parts of T Lightfoot's former brewery, which was closed by Theakstons in 1919.

Started by Paul Theakston of the local brewing family.

Following the demise of Mitchells of Lancaster in December 2018, York Brewery and its estate of pubs were acquired. The pubs acquired were: Last Drop Inn, York; Mr Foley’s Tap House, Leeds; The Tap Room, York; and The Three Legged Mare, York.
